Ranks

Lion: A scout in kindergarten (or 6 years old) who is introduced to Scouting through monthly activities with a parent or other adult partner based on the 5 Lion adventures. Lion den meetings are initially organized by Lion den leaders and run by parents on a rotating basis.

Tiger: A scout in first grade (or 7 years old) who is working to complete the 6 required and 1 elective adventures in the TIGER BOOK to earn the Tiger Badge and rank. Tiger meetings are led by the Tiger den leaders with the assistance of parents.

Wolf: A scout who has completed first grade (or is 8 years old) and is working to complete the 6 required and 1 elective adventures in the WOLF BOOK to earn the Wolf Badge and rank.

Bear: A scout who has completed second grade (or is 9 years old) and is working to complete the 6 required and 1 elective adventures in the BEAR BOOK to earn the Bear Badge and rank.

Webelo: A scout who has completed third grade (or is 10 years old) and is working to complete adventures in the WEBELOS BOOK to earn his Webelos pins and badges. Webelos is a two-year program.  Scouts who complete the Webelos program earn the Arrow of Light, the highest award in Cub Scouts.
